Today I worked with one of my classmates, Sam, to create a narrative for a comic strip using adverts. We wanted to keep it humorous but professional looking, and we started by searching the internet for interesting imagery from advertisements. We then decided on a rough narrative and narrowed the images down and edited them on photoshop. Finally we added text and borders to give it a more “comic strip effect”. It is interesting that completely different images from completely different advertising campaigns can be pulled together to create something which fits together.
